With Our Voices (WOV)

The purpose of this study was to develop a Culturally Tailored Genetic Counseling (CTGC) protocol for African American women who have a personal or family history of breast and/or ovarian cancer and evaluate its impact compared with Standard Genetic Counseling (SGC) in a randomized clinical trial.


Hereditary Prostate Cancer Education Program

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the impact of education about hereditary prostate cancer and genetic testing. Eligible participants were men with a personal or family history of prostate cancer.


Media and Smoking Study

The purpose of this study was to develop a better understanding of how African American men and women are likely to react to media messages about racial differences in genetic risks of cigarette smoking.
