Penn Center for AIDS Research

Penn CFAR Annual AIDS Walk Team

AIDS Walk Philly is the Delaware Valley's largest annual HIV/AIDS public awareness and fundraising event. Each year, thousands of people join with celebrities, community leaders, friends and neighbors in a walk-a-thon and 5K Run to make a lasting statement about our commitment to conquering HIV/AIDS.

It is hosted by the AIDS Fund, which supports HIV/AIDS education, prevention, and services in the Delaware Valley Region by raising dollars and increasing public awareness about the impact of HIV on our communities. Currently, 30 partner organizations are receiving funding as a result of AIDS Fund’s activities to provide critical HIV prevention education and care services.

The Penn Center for AIDS Research puts together a team every year to participate in this great fundraising event.

Special thanks to our 2011 Penn CFAR AIDS Walk Team, pictured below, and everyone else who contributed, raised money, or participated in the AIDS Run (held earlier in the day)!
