Clinical Core Online Database Access

Return to Clinical Core Services

The Penn CFAR Clinical Core now offers online access to a large selection of its specimen repository database.

Our goal is to provide you with access to the data in a format that allows you to quickly determine if we have the types of patients you are interested in studying and/or the types of specimens you need for your research.

This data can also be useful for studying the clinical epidemiology of HIV/AIDS, for evaluating the feasibility of interventional studies, and for facilitating the conduct of such studies.

The steps for accessing the Clinical Core Online Database are as follows:

  1. Request a Username & Password
  2. View the FAQ
  3. Access the Database

If you have questions about accessing the database, contact the CFAR Administrative Coordinator at 215-746-2754.

If you have questions about the specimens contained in the database, accessing those specimens, or running longitudinal analyses of the data, contact Debbie Gudonis (
