With funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the purpose of this study was to develop and validate objective tools to evaluate nutrition environments. Objectives for the ongoing work in this project are to:
- Develop a training module and a train-the-trainer program on how to use measures to evaluate community nutrition environments (retail and food service outlets)
- Conduct training events when requested
- Set up a consultation service to customize the measures, process data and create reports. Information about upcoming training events and other project information can be found at the NEMS website.
