Effects of Medication on Mental Performance

Description: This study tests the effects of a medication called tolcapone on how your brain works after 24 hours of not smoking. This medication has been widely used in the United States. Eligible participants will be asked to make visits to the Center at the University of Pennsylvania, over about 6 weeks. Participants will be compensated for their time and travel. Effects of Stopping Smoking on Mental Performance

Description: This study tests the effects of stopping smoking for 24 to 72 hours on attention and memory. Eligible participants will be asked to make 4 visits to the Center at the University of Pennsylvania, over 1 to 2 weeks. Participants will be compensated for their time and travel.
