Developer Notes:

This template provides a means of conveniently transferring to the Revize Server Directory from a non-Revize server where production pages as often published for site visitor viewing.
A standard hyperlink to /revize/security/ is normally used to access the Revize login page.
On the Revize server, URLs starting with "/revize" map to the Revize Web Applicaiton root directory which is: "revize_install_directory/www/revize/". The Revize web site directories are underneath that directory (e.g. "revize_install_directory/www/revize/demositeII".
On non Revize servers, URLs beginning with / map to the web site root directory. A "revize/security/" must be created in the web site root directory with an default page of "index.html" or "default.htm" to process hyperlinks to "/revize/security/".
Dreamweaver automatically creates the a revize directory structure tree for use on non-Revize servers. This structure includes a "security" sub-directory containing an index.html and default.html page that redirect to the revizelogin.html page created by this template.
NOTE: This entire tree should be transfered to any non-Revize servers.
After a successful login the editor is forwarded to page on the Revize Server directory cooresponding to the calling page from the non-Revize server.
The Revize Developer can specify the sub-directory of the Revize server which contains the working copies of the published pages. When Dreamweaver first creates this template, this sub-directory will be set to the current Dreamweaver site root folder. This subdirectory is set as the value of the Revize Server Directory shown above in Red. The value should contain a relative reference to the revize directory (i.e. the revize server directory). For example: "demositeII" is the relative reference to http://www.idetix.com/revize/demositeII/".
This template can be stored in the associated Idetix webSpace using the Dreamweaver Revize menu item: "Store Updated Template".
NOTE: a channel must be added to publish this template to the production server.
The following Revize configuration file listed below must specify the server name or IP address. This page will not function properly with the default setting of localhost.

Configuration Parameter: localhost

Calling this page with trace enabled will pause before redirecting to the Revize server login page. This is useful for verifing settings and configuration. To enable trace, browse to the Revize server URL directory: .../revize/trace and click ok when asked to turn on trace. (alternatively trace can be enabled on the URL as revizelogin.html#trace)
The Next Url is determined from the domain and port of the webapp specified in the revize.xml file combined with Revize server directory and the calling page filename. This is the page that will receive control after a successful login. If this page was called via a hyperlink from a Revized published template, the page that recieves is the associated working copy of that page on that forwarded to this page.
The calling page filename is determined by starting with the calling page's current location and then stripping any leading subdirectory that contains "revize" or variations of the the web space name or revize directory. Webspace variations include: www.webspace.org, .com, .net.
The Revize server directory is specified in the corresponding hidden value above. If no Revize directory is specified, it is assumed to be the same as the webSpace name (e.g. demositeII which maps to .../www/revize/demositeII on the using the Revize web Server)
The Cancel Url is the page that receives control if the login is canceled. This will be the page that called this page as defined by "document.referrer" or the Next Url if document.referrer is undefined.
