Agencies

Recently, the Center has embarked upon two new ventures designed to support the future research of the Center. Increasingly the interests of faculty members and policy makers are on the development of effectiveness research in community settings. The development of such research requires close and trusting working relationships with agencies that deliver services. The Center has begun this process by creating affiliations that includes the Hall Mercer and Community Council Mental Health Centers, the community rehabilitation agency Horizon House and the Mental Health Association of S.E. PA. These "partners" are actively supporting the development of effectiveness research in their community settings. Current projects include treatment adherence protocols, vocational rehabilitation interventions and consumers support interventions.
