Dr. Cidav is a post-doctoral research fellow at the CMHPSR. She completed her doctorate degree in Economics at the University of Texas at Austin with a specialization in health and labor economics. Her research examined different aspects of health care for children and families. Her main research at CMHPSR focuses on economic impacts of autism, in particular, family costs associated with raising a child with autism. Her latest study investigated effects on parental labor supply and earnings associated with childhood autism. Her research also includes health service use and expenditures of children with autism, and health service needs and experiences of their families.
