Dr. Cidav is a Research Associate at the Center for Mental Health Policy and Services Research at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her doctorate degree in Economics at the University of Texas at Austin with a specialization in health and labor economics. She studies patterns of organization, financing and delivery of healthcare services to persons with psychiatric and developmental disabilities. Her primary research focus is on better understanding the economic consequences of mental and developmental disabilities on families, public and private health care service sectors, and society.
