Angelo LaRocco, Ph.D. is a behaviorally-oriented post-doctoral fellow with background in school, clinical and experimental psychology, as well as a history of providing disability consultation to clients seeking compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Dr. LaRocco completed an APA-accredited program of doctoral study at the University of Iowa, and also holds bachelor’s and educational specialist degrees in psychology and school psychology. He has previously served as a school psychologist in the North Shore region of Chicagoland and acted as a disability accommodation consultant for a large, not-for-profit organization before coming to Penn in 2011. Research and clinical pursuits have implicated issues of reliability and validity related to common psychometric instruments, the efficacy of fluency interventions for children with dyslexia, the appropriateness of testing accommodations for children with various DSM-IV diagnoses, and the efficacy of behaviorally-oriented problem-solving and intervention frameworks such as PBIS and RtI.
