Weekly Seminar Series
During the Fall and Spring semesters, students attend bi-weekly seminars. Lunch is provided and the atmosphere is informal. Seminars are in a variety of formats and emphasize inspiration as well as education.
- Clinical Conferences: Faculty lead discussions about clinical cases that span several disciplines to illustrate important, complex, and integrative aspects of brain function in health and disease.
- Careers in Neuroscience seminars: Faculty and outside physicians discuss the academic, training and life choices they have made in their careers and share what excites them in their current activities.
- Additional Neuroscience Presentations: CNST students may have tours of the neuroscience facilities at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (e.g., the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, the Interventional Neuroradiology suite, or the Sleep Center), or hear presentations on timely research advances by Penn faculty.
