We are currently invite interested candidates to apply for research assistant position in CorLab. This person will be involved in a translational research project investigates genetic diseases of the heart and associated MRI phenotypes in humans and mice. The applicant will be expected to pursue research in the assessment of cardiovascular disease, with a strong emphasis on cardiovascular MRI.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, biology, chemistry or a related discipline. The candidate will be expected to be involved in all aspects of research, including preparation of manuscripts for publication. Knowledge of animal handling techniques, including, but not limited to, anesthesia, blood collection, intubation and catheterization is recommended for the position. Expertise in image acquisition and analysis is required to collect, quantify and summarize medical image data.
