Welcome to the Child & Adolescent OCD, Tic, Trich & Anxiety Group (The COTTAGe) is a specialty clinic in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania for children and adolescents with OCD, Tic Disorders, Trichotillomania, Anxiety and related disorders. The Director of the clinic is Dr. Martin Franklin, Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology in Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania. The section is staffed by licensed and non-licensed Ph.D. clinical psychologists and advanced doctoral graduate students.

Comprehensive diagnostic evaluations
Empirically-supported brief treatments for youth
Intensive outpatient treatments


Research

We are always involved in research studies to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of treatments available for children and adolescents. We are currently conducting research studies in early childhood OCD and Trichotillomania, and are able to offer treatment at no cost for eligible youth.
