Heather F. de Vries MSPH CPH received her baccalaureate degree in Public Health from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey (RSCNJ) in 2001 graduating with honors and with notable distinction as the president of the RSCNJ Public Health Society. She went on to receive her MS degree in Public Health from Harvard University in the May of 2003. Her academic experiences were coupled by research internships at the Violence Prevention Projects at the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) and at the Institute for Human Development. Through her academic career she worked as a researcher at the Murray Research Center, Harvard Radcliff Institute and at Department of Population and International Health, HSPH. Upon graduation from Harvard she accepted a position as a Program Specialist at the United States Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) and soon afterward was promoted to serve as a Program Officer for the domestic refugee resettlement program, having the primary responsibility for the resettlement of thousands of refugees in the United States. She currently is currently a Senior Clinical Research Project Manager in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. In this capacity she is responsible for managing and implementing research studies, developing grants and manuscripts, and administrative operations. Ms. de Vries is the Family Medicine and Community Health Departmental Representative for the Management Advisory Committee for the University of Pennsylvania Society for Clinical Research Management and Coordination. She is also an Affiliate Fellow for the Center for Health Behavior Research.
