2012 Clinical Research C.A.R.E. Award Nominations Now Open!
The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine is pleased to announce that nominations for the 2012 Clinical Research Coordinator Annual Recognition of Excellence award are now open. The award is presented annually to a clinical research coordinator or manager who best exemplifies excellence in the knowledge, skills and values of the profession. The nomination period will remain open until March 24, 2012. The winner will be announced at the Annual Recognition Event for The Society of Clinical Research Coordination & Management in early June 2012.

The SCRCM Online Suggestion Box
The Society's Advisory Committee has initiated an online suggestion box for 2010. Society members can now provide anonymous suggestions and ideas directly to the Advisory Committee by clicking the following link: Online Suggestion Box. Suggestions will be addressed on The Society’s web site, and during monthly “Society Scoops.”

Subcommittees and Workgroups Formed
The Advisory Committee has approvied two subcommittees in 2010. Recommendations for workgroups in 2010 will be discussed in the January Advisory Committee meeting. Recommendations for new workgroups can also be submitted to the committee by emailing ohrtraining@mail.med.upenn.edu. Information about the subcommittees can be found on their respective webpages.
Society Charter
The Society's Advisory Committee manages the charter for the Society. The charter defines the purpose of the Society, its members, governance, responsibilities, and the elections process.
