2nd Annual Society Event

Come join us for lunch and an afternoon of networking and education at the 2nd Annual Society Event! This event features updates on the Society’s accomplishments and future direction as well as an update on the clinical research enterprise at Penn. You will also have an opportunity to participate in up to 5 roundtable discussion groups following lunch.

Roundtable Sessions

2:00 - 4:30pm Biomedical Research Building 14th Floor

The purpose of the roundtables is to provide you with an opportunity to “Ask the Expert” your individual questions in a small, supportive environment. The number of participants at each table will be limited to promote conversation. Each table will feature subject matter experts who are willing to share their knowledge and expertise. There are no formal presentations at the roundtables.

The proposed roundtable topics are:

	Institutional Review Board Investigational New Drug (IND) studies Device studies Subject Recruitment Informed Consent	HIPAA Study Finances & Feasibility Career Management Imaging Studies in Research Negotiating Cancer Studies Contracts
	Please note: the proposed roundtable topics were identified by the Annual Society Event Planning Committee. If there is little or no interest in a particular topic, it will not be offered at the actual event.

Registration

Advance registration is required in order to effectively plan the roundtable topics and match as many CRCs as possible to their preferred sessions. We strongly encourage you start writing down your questions now and bring them to the event.
