SPCRP Election Season is Here!

Nomination Deadline Extended to 7/25/2025

 

You are invited to share nominations for your representatives in the Society for Penn Clinical Research Professionals (SPCRP). The SPCRP hopes to elect representatives from all clinical research professional positions at Penn to serve as leaders and advocates for their colleagues.

There are 5 positions open including Chairperson Elect, Secretary and Communications Manager. Nominated individuals should be clinical research professionals with an interest in moving the field forward at Penn and in supporting their fellow clinical researchers. Former and current board members have benefited from mentorship and networking opportunities with colleagues and have been instrumental in shaping the experience and conduct of clinical research at Penn.

How to Nominate:

  1. You may nominate yourself or someone else to appear on the ballot.
  2. Complete this nomination form in REDCap: https://redcap.link/SPCRP-BoardNominations2025
  3. All nominations must be received by the end of the day on July 25th.

If nominated, you will be contacted by the executive board to confirm your nomination and share a short bio for inclusion in the ballot. The bios will need to be received by the end of the day on August 1st. The bio will answer the following questions:

  1. Where do you work at Penn and what is your role?
  2. How many years have you worked at Penn and in clinical research?
  3. What interests you about the SPCRP?
  4. What special qualities and skills do you bring to this role?
  5. What do you hope to achieve in this role with the SPCRP?

After all nominations are received, voting will take place from August 5th – August 15th.
