Allison Chernov, B.A.

Allison ChernovAllison Chernov, B.A., graduated from Brown University in 2013 with a B.A. in psychology. During her undergraduate career, Allison worked in a neuropsychology lab and her thesis examined the effects of Alzheimer’s disease on rapid visual processing. Additionally, she worked at the Pediatric Anxiety Research Clinic at the Bradley Hasbro Research Center in Providence, RI investigating effective treatments for children with OCD and other anxiety disorders. At the CTSA, Allison is responsible for coordinating an off-site research study with the Department of Defense examining the implementation of Prolonged Exposure therapy for PTSD treatment. Allison also coordinates a study assessing the psychometric properties of clinical measures related to PTSD. Following her work at the CTSA, Allison plans to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical psychology
