Ann Marie Roepke, M.A.

 

Ann Marie RoepkeAnn Marie Roepke, M.A., is a clinical practicum student at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety. She is currently a 4th year clinical psychology doctoral candidate at the University of Pennsylvania.  Ann Marie received her Bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Arizona in 2007 and subsequently worked at Old Pueblo Community Services in Tucson, AZ, as a behavioral health technician and case manager.  She also owned and operated a consulting business, providing training and consultation on Motivational Interviewing.  Ann Marie has completed clinical training at the University of Pennsylvania Assessment Clinic and the Penn Anxiety Program.  Her current research interests include (a) posttraumatic growth (positive psychological changes resulting from the struggle with adversity); (b) the development and evaluation of Internet-based and smartphone-based self-help interventions for depression.  Ann Marie’s clinical interests include evidence-based treatments for anxiety disorders, including PTSD, OCD, social anxiety, panic, phobias, and generalized anxiety.
