The Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety, Department of Psychiatry, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine seeks candidates for a postdoctoral position. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of psychology with a focus on research experience in anxiety disorders. Responsibilities include helping design and conduct clinical treatment mechanism and outcome studies, conducting protocol therapy/assessments, and helping to prepare research protocols, scholarly publications, and grant applications. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care, and interest in preparing manuscripts for publication.
The successful candidate will join a team of anxiety-focused researchers/clinicians headed by Edna Foa, Ph.D. Strong skills in evidence-based psychological assessments/treatments (e.g., CBT), training in assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders required.
