The Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety, Department of Psychiatry, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine seeks candidates for a postdoctoral position.  The successful applicant will have experience in the field of psychology with a focus on research experience in anxiety disorders.  Responsibilities include helping design and conduct clinical treatment mechanism and outcome studies, conducting protocol therapy/assessments, and helping to prepare research protocols, scholarly publications, and grant applications.  Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care, and interest in preparing manuscripts for publication.


The successful candidate will join a team of anxiety-focused researchers/clinicians headed by Edna Foa, Ph.D.  Strong skills in evidence-based psychological assessments/treatments (e.g., CBT), training in assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders required. Strong quantitative skills and prior experience in treatment outcome research preferred. Information about the CTSA can be found at http://www.med.upenn.edu/ctsa.
