Combined Clinical-Research Post-Doctoral Position

The Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety, Department of Psychiatry, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine seeks candidates for a postdoctoral position.  The successful applicant will have experience in the field of psychology with a focus on research experience in anxiety disorders, OCD or PTSD.  Responsibilities include helping design and conduct clinical treatment mechanism and outcome studies, conducting protocol therapy/assessments, and helping to prepare research protocols, scholarly publications, and grant applications.  Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care.

Successful candidates will join a team of anxiety-focused researchers/clinicians at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety, led by Edna Foa, Ph.D.  Strong skills in evidence-based psychological assessments/treatments (e.g.,CBT), and training in assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders required. Clinical Post-Doctoral Position

The Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety, Department of Psychiatry, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine seeks candidates for a postdoctoral position.  The successful applicant will have clinical experience and training in the field of psychology with a focus on empirically-supported treatments of anxiety disorders, OCD and PTSD.  Responsibilities include conducting protocol therapy/assessments, participating in supervision of practicum students and residents, and helping in clinical coordination of treatment mechanism and outcome studies. There are also opportunities for research involvement including preparation of scholarly publications and preparation of research protocols. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, and clinical care, and familiarity with clinical research.

Statistics Post-Doctoral Position

The Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety, Department of Psychiatry, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine seeks candidates for a postdoctoral position.  The successful applicant will have experience in the field of social or medical sciences with particular expertise in multivariate and multilevel statistical analysis of study data.  Responsibilities include spearheading computational analysis, subsequent interpretation of research data examining outcomes and implementation of empirically supported treatments for anxiety disorders, coordination of data collection and management, and contributing to scholarly publications and grant applications. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a social science or statistical area, and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, with demonstration of a particular proficiency with technical/information technology skills.

Successful candidates will join a team of anxiety-focused researchers/clinicians at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety, and will be supervised by Edna Foa, Ph.D.  Strong quantitative skills and prior experience in social science or medical research required.
