Sandy Capaldi, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009 after completing her internship at the Center for Brief Therapy in Philadelphia. Dr. Capaldi joined the CTSA in 2007 and serves as the coordinator for the Center’s PTSD training and practicum student training programs. Dr. Capaldi specializes in Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE) for PTSD, Exposure and Response Prevention (EX/RP) for OCD, and cognitive-behavioral treatment for trichotillomania in children, adolescents, and adults. Other interests include cognitive-behavioral treatment of social anxiety, panic disorder, and specific phobias.
