Carmella Tress is a fourth-year Clinical Psychology Psy.D. student at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. Carmella utilizes Empirically-Supported Treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in working with individuals on a variety of issues including mental health problems and substance abuse. She practices from a Recovery-oriented perspective and enjoys practicing in a holistic manner with her clients. Her dissertation is focused on assessing the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of doctoral students and interns in APA -Accredited Clinical Psychology doctoral programs and internships, regarding Recovery principles and the provision of Recovery-oriented services.
