Due to scheduling conflicts, Flag Football for the Kids will not be hosting our annual charity tournament in the fall of 2012.

We expect to have an even bigger tournament in 2013, so stay tuned!

2011 Flag Football for the Kids Second Annual Tournament of Champions

On October 15th, 2011 at FDR Park in Philadelphia, flag football teams from across the region competed in the second annual Flag Football for the Kids Charity Flag Football Tournament. The tournament was a huge success with almost twice as many teams as last year! Once again, all proceeds were donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.

We thank everyone who participated in this year's tournament, from the players to the referees to the tournament coordinators. And we specifically thank both the UMPR Co-ed Flag Football League and Greater Philadelphia Flag Football League for joining our tournament for a great cause. Our deepest appreciation goes out to the following community organizations for their generous donations of food, prizes, and equipment:GAPSA, Lee's Hoagie House, City Tap House, Steak 'Em Up, Drinker's Pub, and University of Pennsylvania Department of Recreation.

Congratulations to ZBT (pictured below), the 2011 FFK National Champions!
