Fellowships

Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship

This two year fellowship is geared for dermatologists who have recently completed their residency and want to obtain advanced clinical research skills that will help them develop as independent clinical scientists. Funding is competitive (usually being obtained from NIH training grants and/or National Psoriasis Foundation fellowship grants). Therefore, applicants are encouraged to contact Dr. Gelfand one year ahead of the start date, which is typically July 1. Most post-doctoral fellows will also matriculate in the Masters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology program (applications are generally due in the Fall for a July 1 start). Prior post-doctoral fellows are shown in the Team tab under alumnae.

For Pre-Doctoral Research Positions

Funding is competitive (usually being obtained by NIH training grants). Therefore, applicants are encouraged to contact Dr. Gelfand one year ahead of the start date, which is typically July 1. Prior pre-doctoral fellows are shown in the Team tab under alumnae.
