Andrielle (Andie) Yost is the Global Health Training Administrator at the Center for Global Health. In this position, Andie interfaces with Penn medical trainees (MD students, fellows, and residents) to find placements for global health experiences in primarily low-resource settings. She also works with CGH’s affiliated international institutions, placing selected medical students in short-term clinical and research positions at Penn.
Andie previously worked in development for Penn Medicine and was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ghana from 2011-2013. During her time in Ghana she taught IT at a teacher training college and implemented several projects focusing on areas such as literacy, female empowerment, and HIV/AIDS awareness and stigmatization.
Andie went to the University of Pittsburgh for her undergraduate degree, earning a BS in Finance and International Business. She is currently a graduate student at the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania.
