Studying the Neuroendocrine Control of Energy Balance since 2010

A systems-neuroscience approach.

  • Energy Balance

From cell to the whole organism, our program extensively examine the role of various neuroendocrine signaling systems that control for food intake and body weight regulation.

  • Obesity

Examines the behavioral, intracellular, neuronal, and endocrine mechanisms governing energy balance and how these processes are dysregulated in obesity.

  • Neuroendocrine Systems

Examine the role of various neuroendocrine signaling systems (e.g., GLP-1, leptin, amylin, CCK, serotonin, glutamate, and dopamine) to control food intake and body weight regulation.
