How do I become a member?
For Faculty interested in joining the University of Pennsylvania NIDDK-funded DERC please complete the on-line membership application and be sure to attach the following documents:

DERC Membership Benefits:
- Use of DERC Scientific Cores facilities at discounted rates
- Email notification of IDOM activities including our weekly seminar series
- Eligible to apply for DERC Pilot and Feasibility Grant Program
- Participation in the DERC Academic Enrichment Program
- Participation in the Annual Spring Diabetes Symposium & Kroc Lecture
- Opportunities to collaborate on research activities
- Listing on the IDOM/DERC Membership web page
Membership Responsibilities:
- Active participant in the Annual Spring Diabetes Symposium
- Acknowledge NIH DK 19525 on relevant publications
The application will be reviewed at a subsequent meeting of the DERC Executive Committee and you will be notified soon thereafter of the decision.
