The Institute for Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism and the Institute for Immunology invite you to attend an exciting half-day joint symposium that will highlight the intersection between Inflammation, Immunity and Metabolism. The symposium will take place on Tuesday, December 3rd in the Smilow Center for Translational Research Auditorium & Lobby.
Following the welcome remarks by Dean Larry Jameson, M.D., Ph.D., there will be noteworthy talks by the following Penn faculty:

The Keynote Address will then be given by Gökhan S. Hotamisligil, M.D., Ph.D., Chair and Professor of Genetics and Metabolism at Harvard-MIT Broad Institute, Harvard Stem Cell Institute. The symposium will culminate with a Trainee Poster Session and Lunch in the Smilow Commons Lobby.
