Neuro-obesity Journal Club Spring 2011
This year we will continue our monthly group meeting with one major change. For the Fall semester, we will try a "traditional" journal club style instead of our usual data presentation format. 1 or 2 people from each lab will present papers on a subject of their choosing (within the realm of the neuroscience of obesity, feeding, metabolism, etc). We will meet on Fridays (see dates below) from noon-1pm.
Pizza and soda will be provided by the lab responsible for the journal club on that date. I recommend no more than 2 papers so that we have adequate time for discussion. To make the most of this journal club, PLEASE read the papers prior to coming.
The meetings are tentatively scheduled to be in Hill Pavilion. If I have too much trouble trying to book a room, we may switch the location. I will keep you posted.
