Neuro-obesity Journal Club 2009 - 2010
Fall is rapidly approaching which means another exciting year of Obesity journal club is upon us! As in past years, the informal meetings will take place approximately once per month, with each lab taking a turn at presenting. The format of the meeting is up to the presenting lab. However, since many of you have presented your data recently, we would like to encourage inclusion of more papers this year (in a traditional journal club style). You may also choose to do a combination of literature review and data presentation.
Please send me any papers you wish to highlight or discuss at least 1 week prior to the meeting (PDF) and I will distribute them to the group ahead of time. The presenting lab is also responsible for providing food (usually pizza and beverages, but feel free to be creative).
Here is the preliminary schedule for Fall 2009 - Jan. 2010:

Presenter: Greg Dunn from the Bale lab will present:"Sex differences in maternal high fat diet epigenetic programming of offspring length"
Time: 12-1pm, Location: Hill room 220 - Friday Nov. 13th - Harvey Grill Lab
