Title: B-Lymphocyte Immunotherapy in Islet Transplantation: Toward Calcineurin Inhibitor Free Immunosuppression
Sponsor: National Institutes of Health
Objective: To establish the efficacy of a novel immunosuppression approach in islet transplantation as a treatment for type 1 diabetes complicated by severe hypoglycemia.
Eligibility: The study is presently recruiting type 1 diabetic patients with severe problems with hypoglycemia.
