Title: Islet Transplantation versus Standard Medical Therapy in Type 1 Diabetic Kidney Allograft Recipients
Sponsor: National Institutes of Health
Objective: To establish the efficacy for islet transplantation as compared to intensive insulin therapy for the treatment of type 1 diabetes as part of a multi-center international trial.
Eligibility: The study is presently recruiting type 1 diabetic patients who have already received a kidney transplant.
