Research Description: My current research is investigating the role and requirement for lymphoid and migratory DC subsets in activating CD4+ T cells within the lymph node. Past research focused on DC interactions with CD8+ T cells and NKT cells, specifically investigating whether the T cell subsets regulated the survival of DC in a perforin dependent manner. Thus my interests are focused on the interactions between DC and T cells and requirements for eliciting an effective immune response.
