Research Description: In the Cherry lab, we are interested in using genome wide screening in Drosophila to identify conserved cell intrinsic antiviral pathways. Additionally, we are interested in identifying host factors that are co-opted by viruses to complete their replication; we are particularly interested in arthropod borne viruses.
