Research Description: The goals of my research are to understand the regulatory mechanisms that control immune cell homeostasis at the body's barrier surfaces such as the skin or the gastrointestinal tract. Using different murine allergy models focusing on the molecular and cellular mechanisms that initiate and perpetuate different allergic manifestations leading to the progression of the allergic march.
