RESEARCH SUMMARY

The study of regional cerebral blood flow, metabolism and structure in a variety of central nervous system disorders. We have active ongoing research on aging and dementia, head injury, brain tumors, schizophrenia, stroke, Parkinson's disease and brain activation studies. The purpose of the research is to delineate the pathophysiological phenomena underlying these disorders which may help develop better treatment strategies.
