RESEARCH INTERESTS
Regulation of oligodendroglial differentiation and survival; pathophysiology
of excitotoxicity; molecular aspects of peripheral nerve regeneration. RESEARCH TECHNIQUES

One current emphasis of my laboratory is on mechanisms of excitotoxicity
and apoptosis in the oligodendroglial lineage. We are also investigating
molecular aspects of Wallerian degeneration and regeneration in the peripheral
nervous system.
