Postdoctoral Position - Real-time Proteomics; single molecule imaging of protein translation in vivo.

The Lamitina, Goldman and Cooperman labs in the Departments of Physiology and Chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania are seeking a postdoctoral fellow(s) to explore new microscopy-based approaches for single molecule imaging of protein
translation in vivo. A background in C. elegans genetics, molecular biology, and/or protein biosynthesis is required.  Experience with single molecule imaging and TIRF microscopy is strongly preferred.  At Penn, the successful candidate will work across disciplines to apply state-of-the-art imaging techniques to probe the spatial and temporal biology of protein translation in a living system.  Please send a CV and the names of 3 references to Todd Lamitina (lamitina@mail.med.upenn.edu
