The Laboratory for Neural Stimulation is looking for participants to study the effects of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) on cognitive and motor function. TMS and tDCS are non-invasive techniques (i.e. no needles, etc). TMS involves the delivery of a brief (1 microsecond) magnetic pulse to specific areas of the brain before, during or after cognitive tests. Similarly, tDCS employs a small direct current that is delivered to the scalp. Participants are compensated for their participation.
