Welcome to the Mathieson Lab

We are a research group in the Department of Genetics. We study human population genetics including demographic history, natural selection, and complex traits. See our research page or publications page for more details, or check out Iain's blog

We are currently actively recruiting both graduate students and postdoctoral researchers with a background, or interest, in population genetics, computational biology or statistics. If you are interested in joining the lab, please contact Iain to discuss. We are part the GCB, GE and Biostatistics graduate programs, but are open to students from any Penn graduate group.
