Dean's Committees

MSG has members on several committees run by Suite 100. These committees are known as the Dean's Committees and include the Admissions Committee, the Curriculum Committee and the Student Standards Committee.

Admissions Committee
This committee is charged with reviewing applications of prospective students and determining whether or not to accept them, based on their academic performance, letters of recommendation, life experience and interviews.

Curriculum Committee
This is the largest committee at Penn Med. It is responsible for maintaining communication between the students, the faculty and administration about changes in and future direction of the Penn Med curriculm.

Student Standards Committee
This committee is responsible for maitaining Penn Med's standards for academic progress and professional conduct; determining if students have achieved the requirements for promotion and graduation; and recommending individualized progress plans for students with academic difficulties.
