Event Holding and Funding
- MSG Student Group Event and Reimbursement Form
Use this to request:- Purchase orders
- Payment to a vendor BEFORE an event
- Approved vendors only [click for unabridged list]
- Reimbursement requests
- Reimbursement to the student AFTER an event
- Any vendor
- Purchase orders
- MSG Emergency Funding Application
- If your group does not have MSG funding or has exceeded your allotted MSG Budget, you may fill out the above form to apply for emergency funding on an event-by-event basis.
- Groups can only receive up to $100 for a single event, twice per academic year.
- Room Reservations
To reserve a room for use by a medical student group, please complete a Room Reservation Request Form found in Christa Chaffinch's office in Suite 100.- Note: BRB, CRB, Reunion, and John Morgan are available only during weekdays before 5pm. These cost around $100/hr (4 hour minimum) to reserve on weekends and after 5pm; you may request a reservation only if you have a budget to accomodate this. Please contact the MSG Treasurer if you plan on holding an event here.
- Stemmler Lab rooms, the Student Lounge, and the Lookout are available for reservations at all times, at no charge.

Registering your group
If your group has previously registered...
- Medical Student Group Biannual Registration Form
To access this form, you must login to the Medical Student Group Database and click on the name of your student group. If you are registered as a student group leader 'biannual registration' will appear as link.
If your group is registering for the first time...
- NEW Medical Student Group Registration Form
To access this form, you must login to the Medical Student Group Database and click on 'apply for a new organization registration.'This from needs to be filled out one time to initially register your medical group. This will place the group's name and the leaders information into the Medical Student Groups Database.
