Interviews

Our interview program is a day and a half long. Candidates who are selected for interview will be invited to attend on a particular set of dates, during which their graduate group of interest will be highlighted. There is some variation in the schedule, depending on graduate group, but the general schedule below is typical.

Penn does not cover travel expenses, but does provide lodging for your visit.

THURSDAY	Orientation Day (casual dress)
by 12:15 pm	Check in at the Combined Degree Office in Suite 100 Annex, Stemmler Hall
12:30 pm - 2:00 pm	Lunch and MD/PhD orientation
2:15 pm - 4:00 pm	Graduate group activities and possibly an interview
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm	Tour with MD/PhD students
5:00 pm - ?	Dinner with MD/PhD students
FRIDAY	Interview Day with additional activities
8:00 am - 10:00 am	Optional class attendance and/or possible interview
10:00 am - 10:45 am	Medical School orientation
11:00 am - 12:45 pm	Interview block with either graduate group or MD/PhD committee faculty
1:00 pm - 1:45 pm	Lunch
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm	Interview block with either graduate group or MD/PhD committee faculty
4:00 pm - 5:30 pm	Wrap up activities and reception
