Scholarly Pursuit, Frontiers in Medical Science and Bioethics
MD-PhD students receive Scholarly Pursuit credit for their dissertation work, and do not need to complete an additional project.
MD-PhD students are required to complete the one week bioethics course required of all MD students as part of Module 5.
For those in the biomedical graduate studies groups, bioengineering or health care systems, your PhD fulfills the frontiers requirement and you do not need to take any courses other than bioethics.
