The Ottawa Conference on Neuromuscular Disease
We are pleased to announce a Joint Meeting entitled, "The Ottawa Conference on New Directions in Biology and Disease of Skeletal Muscle". The Second Ottawa Conference on Neuromuscular Disease, organized by Rashmi Kothary, Lynn Megeney and Robin Parks has joined forces with the Fourth New Directions in Biology and Disease of Skeletal Muscle Meeting, organized by H. Lee Sweeney and Elizabeth McNally.
The conference will highlight current developments in muscle biology, disease, and therapy with presentations by leading international researchers.
Many productive collaborations and important scientific relationships were formed following the previous four meetings, which brought together researchers on muscle, who seldom attended the same specialty conferences. This meeting will provide the opportunity for those relationships to thrive, for new collaborations and relationships to form and will allow young scientists to get exposure to a broad cross section of all areas of muscle and neuromuscular disease research.
The meeting will be informative and highly interactive, like the past venues. It will consist of platform presentations and poster sessions. Submitted poster abstracts will be considered for inclusion in appropriate discussion sessions.
