Skeletal Biology Postdoctoral Fellow


A postdoctoral position will be available immediately in Dr. Ling Qin’s laboratory in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. The research will focus on the effects of epidermal growth factor (EGF) family ligands in bone metabolism, osteoporosis treatment and cancer bone metastasis.

The candidate must be self-motivated and have a strong background in standard molecular and biological techniques, cell culture and/or animal model. Previous experience in bone biology is preferred but not required. The candidate is expected to design and execute experiments, collect and analyze data, present results at national meetings, and publish papers in highly recognized scientific journals.
