Orthopaedic Surgery Research Fellowship
The McKay Orthopaedic Research Laboratory of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania announces openings, on a yearly basis, for a medical school graduate interested in pursuing a career in academic Orthopaedic medicine. This program offers a fully-funded, 2-year fellowship in Orthopaedic research.
The fellowship is designed to nurture and develop the academic career of a highly motivated individual through conduct of basic, multidisciplinary Orthopaedic research. This program will emphasize the fundamentals of the scientific process including development of research questions and hypotheses, design of research studies, and writing of abstracts, papers, and grants. The trainee will be mentored by both basic science and clinical faculty of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Additional information can be found at http://www.med.upenn.edu/orl/.
