EDUCATION
MS in Mechanical Engineering, 2005, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
BSE in Mechanical Engineering, 2003, University of Pennsylvania

AREAS OF SPECIAL INTERESTS
Spencer is currently investigating the planar mechanics of human supraspinatus tendon and evaluating the structure-function relationships of this clinically relevant tendon. However, his thesis interests are focused on understanding the microscale origins of the macroscale mechanical behavior of orthopaedic soft tissues, eg. tendon, ligament, annulus fibrosus.

Otherwise, I’ll do pretty much anything at least once.
