McKay Orthopaedic Research Laboratory > Micro-CT Imaging Core

Welcome to the Micro-CT Imaging Core

The micro-CT lab is co-directed by Dr. Kurt Hankenson and Dr. X. Sherry Liu. The micro-CT imaging core is located at Rm 511 Stemmler Hall. This core facility consists of an in vivo small animal micro-CT image system (Scanco vivaCT 40, Scanco AG, Switzerland), an ultra-high resolution specimen micro-CT imaging system (Scanco µCT 35, Scanco AG, Switzerland), and three HP Integrity rx2660 Servers.

Special thanks to Dr. Hyun-duck Nah-Cederquist who kindly joined her micro-CT server into our server cluster. The efficiency of image reconstruction and analysis has been increased 50%.
