AREAS OF SPECIAL INTEREST
Greg joined the lab in the spring of 2009 as an undergraduate assistant. He has worked under the guidance of Lara Ionescu, a graduate student working in the lab. Currently he is helping her develop microspheres for growth factor delivery into electrospun tissue scaffolds. He is also investigating the migration pattern of fetal and adult meniscus fibrochondrocytes and their response to the nanotopography of scaffolds. Outside the lab, Greg enjoys spending time with friends and trying different foods at the many restaurants Philly has to offer.
