Nelly joined the McKay Orthopaedic Research Laboratory in the Fall of 2002 and is currently working toward completion of her graduate studies in the Department of Bioengineering. Before coming to Penn, Nelly worked for 1 year in a pharmaceutical company in Westchester NY optimizing protein extractions.

In her spare time, Nelly likes to play the piano, frequent coffee shops with friends, and bake. Additionally, Nelly likes read at Rittenhouse square and go for long runs and bike rides whenever possible.
