Areas of Special Interest

Nandan has been working with Dr. Robert Mauck and Dr. Dawn Elliott in the McKay Orthopaedic Research Lab since the Fall of 2005. His research is focused on the application of stem cells for tissue engineering of the intervertebral disc, with particular emphasis on the annulus fibrosus. In his spare time, Nandan enjoys cheering on the Phillies while drinking well-hopped ales. Between baseball seasons, Nandan enjoys re-watching Big Trouble in Little China and drinking doppelbocks.
